After a creative hiatus, Karmatronic — The BoatCast’s Hong Kong resident — returns with a brand-new full-length album featuring entirely original compositions. The release is titled “8 Sense,” and it marks a bold new chapter in his artistic evolution.
This is not just another electronic music album.
It is a conceptual project — both musical and philosophical.
Karmatronic produced the album in its entirety, while several music producers with English and Hong Kong roots contributed to the final shape of the sound. Recorded between Hong Kong and Shanghai, 8 Sense blends deep house, organic rhythms, and experimental Asian percussion with rich analog Moog basslines.
The result is a sound that is modern, spiritual, and unmistakably Karmatronic.

Karmatronic was born in Milan, Italy. A true global citizen, he has lived in Budapest, Moscow, Tibet, and is currently based in Hong Kong. As a renowned music producer, DJ, and filmmaker, his career spans across continents and genres.
He was the official DJ of the UEFA Opening Ceremony in 2012, making him the first-ever official DJ in UEFA history — a title that marks his legendary status in the global music scene.
We are incredibly proud to welcome him as a guest on The BoatCast, where he delivers an exclusive Hong Kong-inspired boat party mix. Not only a DJ, Sanchez is also a prolific producer, with a deep love for smooth house grooves — though he’s never afraid to heat up the dancefloor with harder beats when the vibe calls for it.
